What is a rub?

A rub is a common phrase used to describe nothing more than a special blend of herbs and spices designed to be used on a pork butt or shoulder or on any other meat fish or poultry. This special blend may contain as much as 20 or more herbs and spices. This combination of spices is endless.

Can I use your Beef Rump Rub on food other than beef?

Yes - all of our rubs have their own unique flavor. Each of these all purpose seasonings are great on any meat, fish or poultry. These rubs are also great to season other foods such as eggs, sandwiches, stews, beans, vegetables, meatloaf and casseroles to name a few. We have even had a report of seasoning popcorn with our Chicken Fanny Rub. It appears that their only limitation is your imagination.

How much of your rub do I use when seasoning meat?

When it comes to seasoning. It is a personal preference. I, however, use our rubs liberally on meat, fish, and poultry. Don't be afraid of it. Experiment with them.

Do your Rubs contain MSG?

No - We do not use any MSG in any of our products.
